Sifu Bradford Wohlner

Sifu Bradford, 4th level Technician Grade, started training Wing Tsun in the EWTO organization of Sweden under Grandmaster Kernspecht, where Sifu Emin Boztepe was the chief instructor. His student, Patrik Gavelin was Bradford´s teacher under Grandmaster Keith Kernspecht. Sifu Bradford trained under EWTO for almost 20 years, but now is independent and under the mentorship of Sifu Tam Yiu Ming. Sifu Brad has trained with many great practitioners, including Grandmaster Cheng Chuen Fun, Sifu Emin Boztepe, Sifu Chris Collins, and Sifu Salvador Sanchez. He has trained and taught in Sweden, England, Hong Kong, the USA, and Mexico, and is licensed under the Spanish Olympic Federation FELUCHA. With over 30 years of experience in Wing Tsun, he now runs the Wing Tsun & BJJ Academy in Stockholm, Sweden, in Monterrey, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic with Sifu Rafael Alins, as well as overseeing Texas Wing Tsun.

Other than Wing Tsun, Sifu Bradford is also a skilled boxer and Escrimador, is currently learning Brazilian Ju Jitsu, and has previous training in Shaolin Kung Fu under Sifu Louis Linn.

Jason Malik

Jason (1st Technician Grade) is the Chief Instructor at Texas Wing Tsun. He is a former boxer and wrestler. Being involved in competitive sport combat, he has a very practical approach to the real world application of martial arts. After becoming exposed to Wing Tsun and Jeet Kune Do in his early teenage years while going through his "Bruce Lee phase", he bounced around from various Wing Tsun, Jeet Kune Do, and MMA schools, not quite finding what he was looking for. Once he met Sifu Alex and attended his first class, he knew he had struck gold, and totally immersed himself in "WT" Wing Tsun full time.

Unfortunately, after a few years the organizational politics associated with opening a new school caused him to leave the Bay Mountain organization, and subsequently parting ways with Sifu Alex. Longtime family friend Sifu Bradford stepped in and took him under his wing and supported the rise and development of Texas Wing Tsun, providing high level WT instruction. Free from the bondage of organizational regulations, Jason cross trains and exchanges knowledge with other lineages of Wing Tsun/Wing Chun/Ving Tsun, including Leung Sheung/Kenneth Cheung, Duncan Leung, Moy Yat, Hawkins Cheung, Wong Shun Leung, Gary Lam, Yip Ching, Wang Kiu, Ju Wan, CSL Force Flow, William Cheung TWC, and Shaolin to get a more well rounded picture of what this art should be from many different perspectives and interpretations. He also studies Kali Escrima and Tai Chi, and constantly cross trains with other styles of martial arts, including boxing, Japanese and Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do, Baji Quan, Northern Praying Mantis, Shaolin, and MMA to be able to effectively apply his Wing Tsun in any given situation against any kind of attack.

Aside from being certified to teach Wing Tsun under the WTA, Jason is also certified to teach Jeet Kune Do under Sifu Paul Johnson of Real JKD, who is a certified Sifu under Sifu Jerry Poteet, a direct student of Si-Jo Bruce Lee.  Jason is also a bladesmith, specializing in custom knives and edged weapons for combat and self defense. He has applied his martial arts expertise working as a doorman for nite clubs and bars, as well as concert/tour security and bodyguarding for celebrities, and has done stunt coordination and fight scene choreography for independent action films.

Jason is also known by his stage name "Bino the Great", and is a recording artist, producer, and audio engineer signed with Mo Thugs Records, the label ran by Layzie Bone of Bone thugs~n~harmony, and is the CEO of their southern branch Mo Thugs South.

Jason Malik is also the United Stated National Director, and the Southern/Gulf Coast Regional Director for the Wing Chun Trinity organization, which is a governing body for multi-lineage Wing Chun events and competitions worldwide, and Jason (and Texas Wing Tsun) is a member of the Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Federation.

LeBaron Yarbrough

LeBaron (1st Technician Grade) has been a martial artist for many years. He is a former student of Sifu Alex Wallenwein and a former member of the Bay Mountain Wing Tsun organization, where he was previously a certified instructor. Aside from being a high level Wing Tsun practitioner, he also holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a Brown Belt in Shotokan Karate. He is also currently training under the EBMAS system of Sifu Emin Boztepe.

David Benavides

David has an in depth martial arts background beginning in his teenage years with Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, and Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu including Tantojutsu and Hanbojutsu. He is currently training boxing and Kali Escrima concepts along with his Wing Tsun. David is the instructor of our Galveston Wing Tsun branch in Galveston, TX, and the coordinator of our annual TWT beach retreat. He is a serious edged weapon practitioner and is assisting in the development of a bladed weapons combat and self defense course for Texas Wing Tsun.

Sifu Tam Yiu Ming

Master Tam Yiu Ming is a lifelong Wing Tsun practitioner, training since the 5th grade. Sifu Tam Yiu Ming learned from both Leung Ting and Cheng Chuen Fun, with Cheng Chuen Fun being his Sifu, and Leung Ting teaching him during weekly advanced instructor training classes. Because of his incredible skill and understanding of the system, Tam was appointed with 3 others as the examiners over student grading at the IWTA, where he was an instructor and the technical advisor for many years. During this time, he was selected to be the technical skills specialist to represent the IWTA in performances and demonstrations. In 1999, Tam resigned from the IWTA after relocating to London, but continues to return to the IWTA headquarters annually, and still travels to teach seminars with his Sifu Cheng Chuen Fun. He currently has students and schools all around the world.

Sifu Paul Johnson

Sifu Paul Johnson is Jason's Jeet Kune Do Sifu, and oversees the new JKD program being implemented at Texas Wing Tsun. Sifu Paul is a career martial artist and competitor, his passion beginning when his father took him to a boxing gym in his youth. He continued on from there, and progressed with amateur boxing with a record of 38-4, and full contact kickboxing (4-2). He has studied Muay Thai for almost 15 years and holds a 3rd Dan black belt in Japanese Jujitsu. With over 30 years in Jeet Kune Do, Sifu Paul formed the Real Jeet Kune Do organization in 1999, and in 2006 became a certified Sifu under Sifu Jerry Poteet, a direct original student of Sijo Bruce Lee. He has also trained under many top notch JKD Sifu's, including Richard Bustillo, Lamar Davis, and Dave Carnell, who have helped him to excel in every aspect of the system. Since the passing of Sifu Poteet, Paul and the RJKD family have been under the guidance of Sifu Leo Fong (original Bruce Lee student) and Sifu Lamar Davis (certified instructor under 5 original Bruce Lee students).
